Lyme: the conspiracy theory -- or not

For those of you new to this site, just thought I'd post to say that there are two schools of thought about the origin of Lyme, which is a bacterial infection.

Some people believe that Lyme disease may have started and/or spread from a governmental experiment in bioweapons that got out of control.

I personally do not believe that, because the awesome power of Mother Nature far outstrips any mischief we mere humans can cook up.

And the ultimate bottom line is:  it doesn't matter where Lyme came from -- what matters is how we cope with it day to day, how we find medical help to diagnose us and guide us toward good health again.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and that's fine ... I just know how fragile I was when I found this site, and coping with the disease effects was all I could handle.  The anxiety and depression that comes both from the Lyme disease process itself as part of the infection and that also comes from the disarray that the medical community is in about diagnosis and treatment is substantial for many of us.

My approach has been to put the government conspiracy theories to one side while I concentrate on getting well, because that is the best use of my time and energy and mental well-being.  If you, dear reader, are like me and have limited time and energy (both physical and emotional) to deal with Lyme and to keep ife from falling apart, then I suggest focussing on the path ahead rather than the currently unknowable origins of Lyme.  There's plenty of time for that after you're better.

It's like a war:  the causes leading up to the war are best studied when the enemy has been defeated rather than distract and dishearten during the battle.  That's my opinion.

I prefer avoid all conspiracy theories and scam artists who do sell "miracle" drugs, they make already not so good situation even more worse. IMO
