Tick bite? Lyme?

I'm assuming I got bit by a tick because I got bit once before and the bite looked the same as this one. It's small (not hard) not really red. No rash. No fever. I've noticed I feel like I'm having heart palpitations and when I walk I get dizzy quickly. Also my legs keep feeling "asleep) they come and go but have been happening a lot. I'm not tired, nor do I have a headache. I do have some neck stiffness but I work so I figured it was that. Does this sound like Lyme? It's very very itchy! But the itch comes and goes! I don't remember getting bitten where it itches. Help?

Once you are bitten by a Lyme tick, the bacteria carried by the Lyme spread throughout your body.  Doesn't matter where the initial bite may have been, and many of us (incl. me) never saw a tick or a bite or a rash.  If you have any concerns that you might have Lyme, then do get it checked out -- it won't go away, and it's a miserable disease to live with.  Let us know how you do, okay?

No I was never treated before I only know I was bit because I got the tick off. I however don't remember being bit in the place I did where it itches (my neck) is the chance of getting Lyme high?

I never had any signs of being bit, no rash and no itching. That is not unusual at all.

You said you were bit before, were you ever treated for that bite? The symptoms you mentioned could very well be from Lyme. In that case your best bet would be to see a Lyme literate Medical Dr (LLMD) so he could help you.

Take it from me, the longer you wait, the sicker you will become. You can find an LLMD from emailing ILADS.org and asking them for a few names of LLMD  in your area or from just googling.

Good luck, we are here if you have more questions.
