Underlying causative pathology for Fibromyalgia?

This is a very interesting article, although I haven't found whatever articles this one is based on. It describes a condition that could be the underlying vascular dysfunction that results in Fibromyalgia, but it still doesn't answer the question of what causes this dysfunction.  Seems to me that if it's a vascular problem, the trigger is most likely an infection or a toxin or perhaps a combination of both, along with a certain genetic type of immune system.

There are articles from Aug. of this year describing how about half of fibro patients have small fiber nerve damage, which is also suggestive of a vascular problem.

I expect they'll eventually find multiple triggers, which could easily include Lyme or Bartonella.

A discussion of fibromyalgia wouldn't be complete without considering what SV40, the monkey virus in the polio vaccine does to glial cells.  Suffice it to say, SV40 doesn't just cause cancer.  That's pretty much it's final stage, it does much more to get there.

"Skin innervation at different depths correlates with small fibre function but not with pain in neuropathic pain patients"

"What's already known about this topic?
Neuronal dysfunction is a prerequisite of neuropathic pain, but it is unclear how the degree of structural and functional neuronal impairment is linked to the intensity of neuropathic pain.
What does this study add?
Impaired skin innervation reduced neuronal functions (thermal thresholds, axon reflex erythema and electrically induced pain) in a layer-specific way, but was not significantly correlated with the levels of neuropathic pain."

When I first got very ill in Tx and had an outbreak of Bart's lesions. It was found that the lesion was from a vasculitis. I had been misdiagnosed many years prior with Fibromyalgia. I just have a strong feeling that fibromyalgia is in realty Lyme and Bart's.
