St. Louis, Jan. 28, 2009 – ETHEX Corporation, a subsidiary of KV Pharmaceutical (NYSE: KVa/KVb), is issuing, as previously disclosed by KV Pharmaceutical Company on January 26, 2009, a nationwide voluntary recall of the products identified below (all lots within their expiration dates) at a wholesale or a retail level as a precautionary measure because they may have been manufactured under conditions that did not sufficiently comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Some of these products have had specific lots recalled earlier due to defects found, including oversized tablets delivering higher than labeled doses. These additional products are being removed to assure that no other defective products remain in the marketplace.

I don't think it rules it in or out.  Spine changes can be from lyme or just from wear and tear, ageing, injury etc...I would see what he says.  Severe spinal arthritic changes can cause a lot of problems/ symptoms, especially if it compresses the spinal cord.  You'll find out when you see him.   I had one very bad disk.  I think mine was from my illness though.  I had surgery on it when I was 42.

my pain doc. rang me today to say that I have arthritic changes in my neck which is affecting nerves on the left and right side of my spine I have to see him for a more detailed discussion.  Does this mean I should now rule out Lyme or could this still be part of it? I know you have had a lot of neck trouble

Thanks for posting this.  My husband is on two of those recalled BP meds.  I don't know if it's the same manufacturer or not but I guess I need to look into it.
