I had similar leg problems for years during school, which for me was also a 15-20 minute walk. Especially in the winter, I would get sharp foot/calf/shin pain, sometimes so bad that I'd worry about being able to make the distance. Then within moments of sitting, the pain would quickly begin to subside. I never saw a doctor about this, because I doubted there was much they could do about disappearing/reappearing leg pains, other than call me crazy.
The calf tightness I did not get until I was much more sick in 2007. It was sort of like leg cramps, but felt like only part of the muscle was involved, if that makes any sense.
Treatment can stir up symptoms and make you feel worse. Perhaps it is good that you've started on the drops instead of diving right into abx, since this is likely a more gentle route (I did the same, but did commence abx after 2 weeks).
Congrats on senior year, and I hope that your health cooperates.
3 weeks sounds right for Igenex. When is your next appt? Will the results be ready by then?
Igenex results usually take around 3 weeks.
