Hi all, M25.
On an off for several weeks now, I've had 'jerking' sort of 'spasms', or twitching through my head, usually I'll just for instance be sitting down and walking around and there will be this mild/moderate involuntary 'twitch' I'll experience, thankfully without any other obvious symptoms, except maybe very slight brain fog and ringing in the ears. Quick Google, first thing comes up are concussions and neurological disorders, I don't think my memory is shot for any particular reason nor have I been attacked or suffered an injury any time recently, I hope not anyway, I can't actually think of what this could be. I've just been trying to keep it under control as much as possible, looking after myself and that to prevent actual neuro-issues or damage from the 'twitch' I do smoke, do drink moderate-heavy, I thought maybe it could have been seizure-eske activity from alcohol withdrawal, to test this was not the case, I had drank a bit to see if that would lower the feeling of anxiety or a ramped-up nervous system to rule it out, but I also don't have other WD symptoms. I also thought it might be some odd balance issue, or maybe even something related to that headache I wrote about and saw a doc about before, although they said it was nothing to worry about probably a tension headache if it gets I'll be back to my GP.
From a mental health standpoint, I am suffering from mental trauma, as I understand it the muscle twitches, both in the body and brain is just that. Physically, I'd be interested to know what this even is, it's controllable, sitting in quiet staring at the sky no movement.
