Strange spot on glans?

I had anal sex (without condom) with my girlfriend and this strange spot appeared on the next days and it's been up for 3 weeks, I went to the doctor 10 days ago and he said it's a fungus, I used to have balanits but it was never like that. The threatment he passed does not appear to work, I'm really worried about it and last night I couldn't even sleep. It's painless, can this be a kind of initial cancer or something? Here is one photo, please help
