Consecutive Miscarriages

We are trying for our first baby and I have had two consecutive miscarriages in the last 6 months.  We are going to start trying again, but of couse I am nervous of having a third.  After a third consecutive miscarriage what does the doctor test for?  I was told for insurance purposes that I must wait for any tests until I miscarry a third time because they are very expensive.  Could it be that I miscarried by chance and that there isn't actually anything "wrong" with me?   Thanks for reading my post and offering guidance!

Well I'm experiencing my 3rd currently. My Dr said we can fun run some tests to try to find out why. When we do i'll let you know what I get don't. Good luck. Keep the faith. Have fun trying! ;)
