Abnormal Sperm Morphology

Hello everyone,

Just a couple questions. We have been TTC for 24+ months. I have had 2 miscarriages in the last 9 months with clomid. We are going to a inferitiltiy specialist. To start things off she wanted to do a semen analysis. Got the results today. everything is normal except the morphology. only 16% normal. She told me that this could be the reason for my miscarriages because an abnormal sperm can fertilize an egg. She wants us to come in for another appt to talk about options. I'm freaking out, am I going to miscarry everytime I get pregnant? She said our best option would be to do IVF. Our insurance doesn't cover this so I wanted to know success rates. Is there any way to treat abnormal sperm morphology?

As doctor told me IVF have 30% to 50%, I read that ICSI have slightly higher chances.
Also, I don't know how much it costs to do IFV or ICSI.

I know a friend who traveled to Jordan/Amman to Farah Clink (Dr. Zaid Al Kilani) and done it for 4,500 USD. She have very nice twin (boy and a girl). The problem that it will cost a lot to travel and stay there.
Actually my dh will redo the sprem test. if his results remain low we may do ICSI.
Good luck,
