Aborted 3 days ago and OBGYN claims the pregnancy test to be negative in 2 days.

Hi, I dont know where to post this but as Miscarriages and Abortions are consider same Medically, I am posting this here. My girlfriend was 3 weeks pregnant and we got it aborted from a certified OBGYN 3 days ago through Abortion Pills. The bleeding and cramping has started and I really can't see my girlfriend baring that pain. We went to a certified OBGYN again yesterday and she did some "tests" by taking her blood sample. After the blood report which is there in her file, she claims that the baby isn't there and my girlfriend is no more pregnant. I have heard that it usually take weeks to confirm the existance of the baby after abortion, so i have the doubt on the diagnosis of the OBGYN. Can it be really confirmed by a blood test in 2 days!???

Yes dear she was. We checked it through home kit and she was also virgin when we made love. The OBGYN told us that the symptoms depend from person to person and we should consider ourselves lucky as the pregnancy was detected early!

Are you sure she was even pregnant?  Three weeks from the last day of her last period is very early to know this for sure.

Thanks a lot for your response. Will do the pregnancy check today using the home pregnancy kits. And the three weeks are from the last day of her period prior to when we conceived.

It seems a bit early, but if she was only three weeks pregnant (I assume you mean from conception?) I guess it is possible that the pills worked really fast.  If you want to check the doctor's work, get a few home pregnancy tests from the Dollar Store (they are pretty sensitive) or some FRER (First Response Early Results) pregnancy tests (they are said to be the most sensitive) and have her pee on the stick in the morning with first-morning (concentrated) urine.  If you still have doubts, go to a different ob-gyn and see if they will do another blood pregnancy test.
