Getting pregnant after D&C

Hi all,  i had a miscarriage at 9 weeks over 2 years ago now and ended up having to have a d&c because the bleeding went on for so long, and i was just wondering if having a d&c can effect your chances of becoming pregnant it seems like such a long time and we have tried everything! if anyone can relate to this please? x

i just had one two weeks ago i was 3months. they told me there is a small possible chance it can effect getting prego again but its not a very big percentage it will. you should be fine to have another baby... good luck

I've never heard that it can, but I guess anything is possible. And i suppose if something went wrong and left too much scarring then it could, but I certainly don't know this for sure.  I had a d&c with my first miscarriage, and i've gotten pregnant since then.  Have you spoken with your doctor about trying for so long with nothing happening?  I think if you try for more than a year, then they'll do some testing to see what's going on.  Good luck
