HCG Level Drop

Does anyone know what level your hcg has to drop to, to start your actual miscarriage or is it different for every one?

mmm well I'm now on day 3 of cramping and I was doubled over with them last night and still nothing, I dont know my labours only take like an hour and a half so this is bull s**t for me, 3 days and nothing, I'm trying to suffer in silence because if my hubby finds out how much pain I'm in he wont want to try again because he hates to see me going thru this !

Sorry you're in so much pain.  I think our m/c's have been fairly similar...I had a D&C with my first one...a missed m/c.  It was pretty much pain free as far as I remmeber and I don't recall bleeding that much afterwards.  My second was like a normal period, no cramping at all.  My 3rd, last month, on Friday when it started I was in so so much pain.  I stayed up all night on the sofa crying bc the pain was so bad and I couldn't lay down...had never had pain like that b/4. And that's when the bleeding started.  Thankfully, by Saturday afternoon, the pain was more like period cramps.

I hope that it all happens tonight and by tomorrow you're feeling better.

ah yes well I'm 44 as well nearer to 45 actually :/  just been to one of my daughters graduation dinners tonight and I'm back home nearly doubled over in agony, arrggghhh the pain, its worse than labour, I wasnt expecting this, I thought it would be like my first one, no fuss!!! shite, ouch :( still nothing really happening besides the cramping, off to the acupuncturist tomorrow and hopefully he can do something, dont think I'll be getting much sleep tonight, I have a week from monday to pass it or I have to have a d&c and thats sounding like a painfree option at this point !!!!

mine are bad eggs too...i'm 44.  but i"ll keep trying and hopefully catch a good one.

yes, the waiting.  last month when I was going to have mine I started excercising like crazy trying to move it along (i read somewhere that that would work) nope, don't think  it did anything.  the hcg dropping so slowly drove me crazy too....once it got down to 461 it took 2 weeks for me to get a negative hpt.  I think that once the m/c starts you'll get a big drop (at least I did)

Maybe the spotting means it's trying to get moving at least. I hope it does start soon and is over quickly.  tc

I think it's different for everyone.  I've had 3 m/c and mine have been different each time.  My last m/c it was just over 2,000 when i started bleeding and then quickly dropped to 461...in just 3 days.  My second one I started bleeding when my level was under 100.

I'm really sorry that you're going thru this (I'm assuming you're having a m/c).  For me, the waiting for it to start was awful.  Once I knew I was going to m/c, I just wanted all the physical part of it over.  Sorry again.
