the results she be available today or tomorrow. They usually gets them done fast.
It must be worrysome. I hope the best for you. one of the drs i saw when i had my m/c, she told me i might need a injection to kill the m/c b/c she think it might be ectopic, i refused b/c i didn't get any pain so i didn't believe her. Guess what? I had a natural miscarriage without any medicine so she was wrong.
Ah see I live in Oxford,England so I'm not sure if it's the same here. Well I had my bloods done on Friday and again today so if they have gone up since Friday by quite a lot then hopefully it'll be ok. It's just a big waiting game! X
I live in USA in Seattle, Washington.
If you get your hcg test today then another one 2 or 3 days after - and if that number go up then you are fine.
Are you still having the spotting?
To say that even if he is correct he doesn't know yet. Where do you live as I'm not sure it's the same here x
Yeah I'm really upset about what the dr said thought that was really wrong t
i really think you should do 2 more hcg tests. ask for a second hcg test today and then a 3rd one 48 hours after. You do not have to see a dr for this blood order, they can just put it in when you call the office. Even the nurse can put in this type of lab request. This will give you a better idea on the status. The scan is very early to see anything and I wouldn't go based on that or the spotting.
my friend had spotting for a week and it was normal, her baby girl is 2 now.
I had a hcg test on Friday which was 8758 but I had a mc 3 months ago and had very light spotting. He said based on what showed on the scan and the spotting then he would say I'm going to miscarry. He wasn't my dr he was just a dr I had to see after my scan. X
I had a scan at about 7 weeks and three series of the hcg test and dr told me that I will be having a miscarriage based on the hcg level since they couldn't see much on the ultra sound.
Do you know why your dr say that you were going to have a m/c? You should ask for hcg test
Yeah I'm not sure what to think x
Before the 6-8 week mark it can be difficult to see anything beyond a yolk sac in an ultrasound because it's too early. In fact, many doctors won't even do an ultrasound until after 8 weeks for this very reason.
5 weeks is very, very early and you won't see much at all. If you have another ultrasound in a couple of weeks, then you should hopefully see a lot more.
