Is it possible to be pregnant after a m/c?

Here's my story and if anyone can help or provide personal stories, please do so. I was 4 1/2 wks pregnant when I had a miscarriage beginning on Feb19th, 2010 and ending on Feb22nd,2010. I had my blood tested and they found my hcg level at 3 on Feb23rd. I am guessing within a day or two it was finally at 0. I don't know exactly. So what I did was I counted 14 days from the 23rd and discovered I was ovulating on either the 8th or 9th (I had eggwhite cm & elevated BT both days). My doctor didn't say that there was a problem with ttc right after the m/c because my hcg levels went down right away. I had sex the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th. I am hoping I am pregnant, but at 10dpo I am still BFN. My question is, has anyone had a m/c at such an early stage and got pregnant quickly? I have heard that it is easy to conceive after m/c because the body is preparing itself for a baby. I just want anyone's advice or personal stories to give me hope. No pregnancy symptoms really except for high BT, feeling gassy/constipated, and some mild cramping/twinges. I don't feel like AF is coming though because I am not bloated and that is usually a major indicator she is on the way. My cm varies from watery to creamy/thick. I don't know what to think. Help please w/ advice ! Thanks.

Thanks for the input. I am thinking to get a blood test soon because I am now 14dpo with AF due today and no signs of her. My symptoms have increased to sore nipples, fatigue/exhaustion, and cravings for food like tomato soup and beef jerky. I don't have any symptoms that I usually get when AF is coming..no sign of her. If I am still getting BFN a week from now, I will go get the BT to check my beta. Also, glad to know you got lucky again right after your m/c. I am sorry for your loss, but happy for your gain.!

Hi there I'm so sorry for your loss. I had my last m/c in sept of 08. I was told by my dr to wait 3 cycles but I chose not to I had a natural m/c and made sure my hcg went to zero luckily I had no complications so I ttc right away and my next cycle I became pg. I was very very lucky because I tried to get pg for over 3 yrs at that point and I had numerous m/cs in between so I was very lucky. I think the most accurate way of knowing if your pg is to have your blood drawn and then repeat it to see if the levels are rising. They typically do every 48-72 hrs however some women such as myself can have low rising levels where repeat blood work and u/s's are necessary. Best wishes to you and let me know what happens!
