Miscarriage? No heartbeat at 6wk 1 day

Had an u/s and they said they saw twins and I was only 5 weeks 2 days pregnant told me to come
Back in ten days when I was further along to see a heartbeat.
They were surprised at the first ultrasound bc due to the date of my lmp
I was supposed to be about 7 weeks but was only 5 she said I could have ovulated later
In the month bc I have irregular periods. Did blood work to check
Hcg levels and they were going up the appropriate amount doctor said.
Went back for second ultrasound said there was only one baby now but no heartbeat. Baby was only 6 weeks 1 day when at that time Doctor said I should be 6 weeks 6 days. Said should have seen baby heartbeat. Have another
Ultrasound in a week this Friday and don't know if I should get my hopes up
Or plan on miscarriage. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you

Sorry to hear you are going through this. All i can suggest is that you hope for the best but prepare for the worst. sometimes dates are wrong and everything works out and sometimes dates are correct but the pregnancy doesnt measure the same to match the dates. Unfortunatly all you can do is wait. Good luck

Sorry to hear your concerns about the inconclusive results. Keep the faith, nothings been confirmed yet, so keep being positive until you get a final answer. You are still early in your pregnancy,  a lot of developmeny still needs to happen to your baby, so please try to relax. Wishing you all the best.
