Dark brown blood when I am suppose to be ovulating. Is that normal?

Hi,

I have been charting my bbt and observing my cm. I know I am ovulating but I am getting dark brown blood the day I am suppose to be ovulating. It was't heavy. It was just there when I wipe and last for half day. I have my first af on 1st July after having d&c on 21st May. Dr. says it's normal after a m/c.

I want to know whether has anyone experience this b4? And did it happen again the next af. Will this affect ovulation and conceiving?

Grace

Thank you both for your input. It certainly did not hurt although I have slight cramping. And the blood gets a bit more when I exercised. But it is not the flowing type. I will try not to stress about it and it is good to know I am not alone who experience it.

Hey Gracie

I know when I first ovulated after my miscarriage I had cm with streaky brown blood when I wiped  and on panty liners.  I was so peed off because I thought the bleeding had finished so I think it is normal

Hi Gracie

Some women experience ovulation bleeding .. when oestogen surges there can be a release of blood .. it is normally very light, usually when there oestrogen level is high.   But who knows since you've had a d & c .. I had one recently and am only just beginning to realise how much it throws your body out!

I wouldn't worry about the bleeding though unless it was painful - that could indicate a problem .. good look with ttc!!! x
