Preg after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage June 15 2008 and I have been having some of those wierd preg feelings again. My OBGYN order a quant. HCG test from my local hosp. My doctors nurse said she would call me back yesterday after the test came back. Well I did not get a call back so I went to the hosp and picked up a copy of the test and it says my level is 64  so my question is: Are these just left over hcg after misscarriage or am I preg again?

It honestly could be either.  Everyone is different in terms of how long it takes for the HCG to leave your system completely. I would imagine they will want to do another blood test to see if its rising or going down.  Best of luck to you.

Well it could mean a few things, did your dr monitor your hcg levels after your m/c?  If not, it could mean you still have left over hormones. Another way to find out for sure if you are preggo is to have the test repeated in 4 days to see if the numbers doubble.  My guess is you might me preggo.

I had a d&c june 17th and just got my first cycle,i was having my primary care physician monitor my levels 3 weeks after the d&c, july 9th the levels were 29 and on the 18th it was 9, im still going in on friday just to make sure levels are at zero even though i got my cycle. I dont no if i had ovualted anytime b4 AF cam  because i was to consumed on how the heck i have a m/c.

I wish you the best, keep me posted on if your levels doubble(i would have them do a repeat since levels are suppose to doubble every 48 or 72 hours)
