Im sorry to hear about your loss and have also had consecutive recurring m/c. It is very painful and devastating. Atleast you know that you can get pregnant though, and you have a daughter so your body can hold onto a pregnancy. We have been trying for a year to concieve our first child with no successful pregnancies so far. I have also had a D&C. My new doctor is great and very proactive and has put me on 50mg of Clomid. This is where the healthiest eggs are released during ovulation, with the possibility that multiple eggs could be released. Has your doctor recommended this yet? I took my first 5 day prescription this month and we will find out at the end of the month if it worked. Also, she suggested getting a shot of Progesterone after your first BFP. I know that is a common factor with m/c. I wish you the best of luck while ttc. Keep us updated :)

Thanks for your reply, been racking my brains with questions. We have now been referred to a fertility specialist who we will se in 6 weeks time. I never seem to miscarry on my own which apparently is a good sign as my body is more than willing to hold a pregnancy. My frist 2 m/c were the same never developed a heart beat and ended at 6 weeks this was different saw a heartbeat at 7 weeks and thought i was over the danger part for me then went for 12 week scan and babys heart stopped at 9 weeks, i have had to have d and cs with all 3 m/c. I,m just so worried that i wont ever be able to hold another baby in my arms but i know that i am blessed with my daughter. I was thinking that i may perhaps have a thyroid problem and i,m going to see my gp to be tested. i pray they find something and its easy to fix. will also ask about progesterone. x

I'm very very sorry you are going through this while I have only had one miscarriage I know some of your pain. Did they check your progesterone throughout your pregnancies? Sometimes this can be a cause for miscarriages. A symptom of low progesterone is bad PMS, early first trimester bleeding, increased breast tenderness, and lower back pain. I was reading that progesterone is a common factor with recurrent miscarriages. Hang in there I'll be praying for you to find the answers you deserve. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful take care. I'm always here if you need to vent.
