Unusual miscarriage

Hello,
I was hoping someone could identify with what I experienced as I am struggling to make sense of it all and move on!

I was maybe 4/5 weeks pregnant and last night at seven I had an early pregnancy scan. The Sonographer said the pregnancy was to early to give me a definate date and info and told me to come back in two weeks. 20 minutes after my scan I sat on the toilet and passed quite a lot of fresh blood followed by a small clot (thin and stringy) then a lump of tissue about the size of a hens egg but more kidney shaped. I bled a little more then stood up and made my way home-very sure I had just passed my pregnancy.

When I got home I passed some More fresh blood but it was not heavy. Slight stomach cramp but nothing overly painful. Bleeding stopped completly within two hours. Today I have very slight brown discharge when I pee and very dullish cramps.

Telephone call to doctor confirmed what I though, I had miscarried the pregnancy.

Has anyone else had such a quick, pain free experience?

Being so early on, it's very possible.  It's not an unusual miscarriage at all; in fact, most m/c are quick and painless and many women aren't even aware that they were pregnant, let alone miscarried.  I'm sorry that you have had this experience, and hope that you never have to go through it again.

I had a natural M/C i Febuary, I bleed for 5 days, but not super heavy, a lot of tissue pased but didnt have bad cramping. I am TTC, but if I wasnt I might have thought it was a late pregnancy.

I have not had a period since March 28th. I went to the doc on Tuesday to get some blood work done. They thought maybe my thyroid but they also did a pregnancy test. I did a home pregnancy test around the first of May and it came out negative and then went to the doc and found out on Wed that I was pregnant. On Friday they told me I was 3-4 weeks. I started bleeding on Thursday like a normal period with clots. I went in to the ER yesterday to make sure all was ok and they did blood work and told me that my HCG levels were at a 12.9 and that they thought I had lost the baby. They also did 2 ultrasounds and they did not see anything on the ultrasounds that looked like a baby. My question is....could they be wrong? Are the HCG levels where they should be at 3-4 weeks pregnant and what would they see at 3-4 weeks pregnant on an ultrasound if anything? They have already had me in tears the last 2 days and I just want to know if I really did lose it or not. I go back on Monday but I just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this at all? Thanks.
