Sent home Monday from doctors to wait for miscarriage due to two levels thatt decreased so far nothing has happened so I am scheduled Monday to talk to doctor about a D and C how long is the appropriate waiting time for nature to do its thing?

Waiting for my body to do what it needs to do but so far nothing. Supposed to talk to doctor monday about a D and C if nothing happens by then. Uncomfortable about that due to the fact that she cancelled all further blood work and I would like levels to decrease more then just the total 22 points they did before I consider the D and C unless it gets to the point that other complications set in. What is a reasonable time to wait for nature to handle things? This is my first misscarriage/pregnancy.

Sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, it may take a "few" weeks for the miscarriage to occur naturally.

When I had a scan and they thought I was going to miscarriage they had me wait two weeks before returning.  It took almost the full two weeks but i eventually had a complete miscarriage without a D&C.
