Hi i'm with Latrice, i'd keep  getting your blood drawn every couple of days and maybe get another u/s scheduled. Dropping HCG levels in my experience isn't good. I had a m/c back at the end of Oct 08 and right from the start wheni got my blood tested my HCG levels weren't very high and wern't doubling like they should. My doctor told me i was likely to have a miscarriage in the next 2 weeks and they were right. I miscarried at 6 weeks. I am now nearly 12 wks preg again and even at the start of this pregnancy my levels weren't doubling but they were still going up pretty well and i had a scan at 8 wks and the baby was fine.
I hope everything works out for you but its pretty scary when your levels are actually dropping, if they were going up slowly it would have been better than dropping. But then maybe i don't know if this happens or not but if you're carrying twins and one dies does that make your levels drop????

From what ive learned, you should not have decreasing levels. How far along are you, have you seen an ob yet. I would make another appt with ob dr and have levels drawn again.

I'm really sorry that I can't answer your question.  But I do wish you the best of luck!  Will you be going back for another u/s soon?
