I had to be induced all 3 times because my babies are too big to go to 40 weeks. With all that happened to me could you imagine how bad it would have been if I would have waited to go into labor on my own at home and then had a baby stuck...She would have died!
yeah, I watch few movies on www.freebirth.com and I will tell u its not for me!!! some of those women are so sure they want to do this, in same cases it looks so easy and I couldnt beleive it. If I will not go through delivery I probably will beleive this-that is so easy and nice, but is not, I know it. I didnt take any meds with my son but still I will be too affraid do this at home with no help, with no doctors if something will happen. Its not just u, its a baby, what if the baby needs medical help? what if something will go wrong? just cant understand this, u dont have to take anything, u can choose the way u will deliver your baby and still do this at hospital, why they are taking risk? risk of loosing the baby?
Are you talking about the women that are going all natural? I personally wouldn't do it in a million years. With my first baby I went in saying I was not going to take any medicine at all which almost ended in a c-section. After 10 hours of being induced b/c she was in destress I wasn't dilating. They told me that my body was in too much pain and it wasn't allowing me to dilate. I finally broke down and got the epidural and was pushing 2 hours later. She was 9lbs and got stuck, they had to use the vacuum and forceps to get her down. I don't know what I would have done if I would not have been at a hospital.
