hi everyone.

my question is has anyone spotted after a miscairrage? i had my miscairrage on march the 30th and bled for about a week. it was just like a light period. well after that its been almost two weeks and i started spotting about two or three days ago. its not red, its like brown or maroon. has this happened to anyone here. i am just curious. i thought it was going to be my period but i just keep on spotting. today is my third day like this. if anyone knows about this please help.

hi thanks for the info.
it didint necesarilly start after sex b/c we started ttc right after i stopped bleeding. this just happened about three days ago. i dont know. maybe there is a chance i could end up being preeg again. but to br honest with u i really dont think i would be one of those lucky women who are blessed with that. although that would really be a dream come true for me and my husband. a couple of days my right ovary was hurting wich was weird for me b/c it had never hurt before. i dont know what to think i guess ill just let it to time to find out and i guess i will buy a hpt for next week to see. i just hate not knowing what to expect!  but about fever or anything like that no i havent had any. ive just been very sleepy and all my body hurts!

I had a blighted ovum in May of 2009, and I had to have a d&c...I bled for like 10 days, then was good for 2 weeks, then started spotting for like a week, then off for a week, then bleeding again.  It was frustrating.  But yes, as AnnieBrooke said, sometimes, the continuous bleeding can indicate that you have some tissue remaining.  The body tries its hardest to expel whatever is left and that is why you continue to bleed.  Or it could just be the way your own body is readjusting.  Did it start after sex or anything?  Is there a chance that you could have gotten pregnant again and this could be implantation bleeding?  There are so many possiblities that your best bet is to go get checked.  My doctor's advice to me when I started spotting was to watch for fever because if there is tissue left that shouldn't be there, the body usually tries to ward it off and you get a fever in response.  Do you have any foul smell, pain or fever?

I spotted after a natural miscarriage, and kept lightly bleeding until I had a D&C.  Turned out that a little bit of placental tissue had remained.
