possible miscarriage?

i'm looking to see if anyone has experienced anything similar to this and if so what was the outcome, here is what is going on. My last period was 01/05/12. I confirmed on 02/03 that i was pregnant. at 5 weeks pregnant i had one day of really light pinkish spotting and so i called the doctor and they decided that they wanted to test my hcg levels. I went in for my first blood test on 02/13 and my level was 1500, then i went in on 02/15 and had it redone and my level went up to 3200 which is good, it more than doubled in 48 hours. on 02/16 i went in for my first ultrasound, they couldn't see much at that point besides a sac because it was early but from their measurements they said that i was measuring at 5 weeks 2 days when i was 6 weeks from my last period. They said that it was not a big deal and that it was only 5 days difference from which i have heard from other people is quite common. they had me come back 8 days later on 02/24 for another scan because they are trying to determine viability of my pregnancy since i just had a miscarriage back in november, at 7 weeks 1 day i was measuring 6 weeks and 3 days which is right on track from my last measurement and they could see the sac and a yolk. then they said that because they weren't able to see the baby that i would have to come back for another scan in 10 days. They had me come back on 03/05 which was 8 weeks and 4 days and i measured at 7 weeks and 6 days which is still right on track from the last scan, still 5 days behind but still growing they could still see a sac and a yolk. They still were unable to see a baby at this point or a heartbeat and so they told me that my pregnancy is not viable and that i am going to have a miscarriage and that it should start in the next couple of weeks. the doctor told me that it would probably be best if i could do it naturally without a d&c and i agreed. He scheduled an appointment for me to follow back up with him in 3 weeks on 03/21. In one of my previous scans the tech told me that i do have a tilted uterus. I have not had any pain or bleeding and i still feel very pregnant. They haven't tried to retest my hcg levels to see if they are still going up or if they are dropping, i feel as though i am being thrown to the wind with no answers or direction. Do you think it is possible that i could still have a viable pregnancy and they are just unable to see the baby yet because my uterus is tilted? Has anyone else gone through something similar only to find out that the doctors are wrong and they did have a viable pregnancy? Any answers or suggestions as to what i should do would be greatly appreciated or if you could share a similar story with the outcome whether it is good or bad would be appreciated as well. sorry this is so long.

Definitely get another opinion but wait if you can til you're about 10 weeks. I didn't hear a heartbeat at my 1st dr app which was at 10 weeks so they did a u/s and we saw the baby, saw the heartbeat and got to hear the heartbeat! So yayy! But supposedly the baby was measuring 8 weeks instead of 10 weeks, and maybe I got my dates wrong. But I know my dates cuz we'd been trying for 2nd baby for 6 yrs and I had 3 misacarriages in the last 14months. Im curtently alomst 34 weeks prego now so good luck  But anyways......my last miscarriage was a missed miscarriage. My baby stopped developing at 6 weeks and still at my 10 weeks scan there hadn't been growth even tho I still felt pregnant. Since I had muscarried on my own my first to miscarriages dr said we could wait another 2 weeks before scheduling a d&c. I had some spotting and cramping the Friday before my d&c then even before I had it done I had them check one more time before I let them take my baby. I'll pray for you. Try to stay positive. Good luck.
