very touchy

I'm sorry if this disturbs anyone.  I just need to find peace somehow.

I have been having a miscarriage for the past 2 days.  (began yesterday)

the pain has been very intense.  I have passed a few clots but this morning, when I was in the shower I passed the actual sac.  It was a little smaller than the size of my fist.
It was devistatingly horrible to actually see it all.  There went my baby down the drain like trash....

I'm feeling so horrible.

Why don't doctors automatically do a d&C???  Why did I have to have the added emotional pain of actually seeing everything.
has this happened to anyone else?

Im sorry its haunting you it does me too. But it does get better with time.                           I bled for about 2 weeks but every woman is different. My next period was the same time it always is at the beginning of the month but off by a few days. So about 3 weeks later. And my hormones went down to zero after 2 months. You may have the same experience but since everyone is different its hard to tell. Ive heard others bleed for longer and get a period alot later. Your hormones should go down fairly quick tho. You will know when your period is back because you shouldnt have any clotting. are you still seeing the OB? you need to follow your levels back to zero.

I am really sorry you had to see it. I know how upsetting that really is. I saw both my baby and sac come out in the toilet at the hospital. It was so horrible. I went to the bathroom with the nurse cuz i had lost to much blood and first the baby came out and then an hour later the sac. The nurse had taken both for testing. I wish this never happened to anyone its devastating so i know how your feeling. I'm always around if you need to talk.
