Usually you can ovulate anytime during your cycle I'm pretty sure, it's not always 14 days after your period. And ya someone commented that when you're ovulating you become naturally more aroused it's the way God made our bodies so that we will have sex more around ovulation and get pregnant.

If you're horny, I'd take it as a sign you're ovulating, and go for it.

I dont think that being more aroused is either normal or abnormal. Everyone is different. I know after my m/c's I didnt want my man touching me for a long time. I was depressed and the last thing I thought about was sex. But like I said it's different for everybody. Not sure why it would hurt, did you have a D&C? A few weeks after my D&C we had sex and it wasnt painful but uncomfortable. I wasnt dying with pain but it didnt feel good. I hope you find the answer you are looking for, sorry to hear about your loss.
