Vision almost gone in right eye ... what do I do?!

Ok, so I have been having a wicked excaserbation going on for the past 3 months, symptoms getting progressively worse. Yesterday I noticed that my right eye was blurrier than normal. By the time I went to bed (2 am, couldn't sleep) I was almost completely blind in my right eye! Everything was just a huge blur and much darker than my left. I was freaking out. I honestly just laid there in bed trying NOT to fall asleep, worried that if I closed them to sleep I would wake with NO vision! I finally passed out. I woke in the morning with the same vision problem but a whole new symptom that I had NEVER had before! I cannot walk a straight line, I swerve like I just drank a liter of whiskey! I am insanely dizzy that it got to the point where I had to call my husband home from work cause I couldn't stand long enough to make our kids lunch.

Any thoughts on this? I called Neuro, he gave me an appointment for 9:30 tomorrow morning. Is there anything I should be asking him?

Thanks a bunch,
Holly

Iif I'm having a flare, the neuro books me for an appointment immediately.  So there's no telling what your tests say - the fact that you're exhibiting classic neurological symptoms was enough, I think.

Thanks, Jen, for the comment. Yeah, that's pretty much what happened, however, it seems most of my symptoms are right sided with only a little numbness on the left side arm and hand that comes and goes.

Hopefully (fingers crossed) the Neuro will FINALLY be able to diagnose me with something. When I called the office the nurse took my name and went to get my chart. I still hadn't told her anything that was happening to me. When she got back on the phone she didn't even ask what was wrong, she told me Neuro would see me tomorrow. I told her the sooner the better and she pushed me into his "before" first slot at 9:30. I am wondering if she saw my test results in my chart and just put me in cause something is there?! Humm ... makes me wonder cause normally I have to wait WEEKS before Neuro has an appointment available.

Ooh, that sounds like what I went through two years ago.  My left eye went real blurry and gray one night, and my eyes started jerking around in a circle.  It looked like the room was spinning, but it was just my eyes.  The next day, I couldn't walk straight - I would start walking forward, but would veer off to the right.  It was just like when your car alignment's out of whack, and you have to hold the steering wheel crooked to drive straight.

I think it's probably a lesion in your right cerebellum - that was the most obvious lesion I had on the MRI.

As for the dizziness, I'm sorry to say there's not much you can do about it.  I was dizzy for four straight months before it started getting better.
