Dr House

Where's Dr House when all us limbolanders need him???????????????????????

I don't know if you are all familar with him, but he's a dr on television who takes on mystery cases and always find a diagnosis for them, no matter what.   It's a great show, wish he was really a Dr.

Maybe us limbolanders should try to get hold of him............lols

My favorite show, too! Followed by Bones! Wish it was all as easy as it looks in TV land!Everything neatly wrapped up in about 22 minutes of actual show time!

I watch "mystery diagnosis" on discovery health.  They are real stories, and the actual patients and doctors talk on the show.

The stories often start with the patient being dismissed over and over again before meeting the right doctor.

Though I am always saddened to hear stories like these, it does really help me with my jumbled feelings about what to do from here.

I get "You need Dr. House!" so many times from people!  But on that drama, the patient is usually in critical condition and failing fast.  I think those of us with less   emergent conditions are easier to set aside.

I agree with Heather.  It seems like doctors should be held to a higher expectation to work toward diagnosis, and a little teamwork sounds good to me.

Love my show, "House."  Love it...

What we need is a group of doctor's that get together, just like on the show and keep working at the diagnosis until they find a commonality.  The concept certainly is not unheard of.  This is how many people may be diagnosed with the PROPER diagnosis, if doctor's did this in their own practices.  Sat down as a group and wrote it all out on a board, elliminating things one by one, till they found the answer.  Two heads are always better than one...don't ya think?  In a Neuro's case, maybe a dozen heads are needed instead of two.

I wonder how many Limbo Landers would finally have answers if this were done?

I love that show too!!  Funny you wrote this post because I thought the same thing the other day..."Wish Dr. House was real and I'd let him figure out this mystery!"  Wouldn't it be nice to have a real Dr. House!!  I love watching the show.

Love House!  I notice every other show MS is mentioned. In one episode Foreman kept suggesting MS and House yells "It is NOT MS!" oh that was funny.  Love Huge Laurie, he is pretty easy on the eyes too....
