Thank you, I am hoping to hear something next week about what is going on. I will keep everyone updated as I know what is going on :)

Good luck with Gilenya, Paula. It sounds like between your neuro and your PCP, you'll be in good hands. Keep us up to date on this.
I am still working on reading through everything he gave me about Gilenya. I am going for all the blood work and the eye test as soon as they schedule it.
I am also going to make an appt with my PCP to talk with her about it too. She will be the one I will go to for monitoring my liver enzymes because she is much closer and my neuro said that would be fine.
I know Gilenya carries risks but don't all the medicines that are out there for MS, some more than others but I am hoping this works for me so that I don't have to change DMD's again, if it doesn't work for me then I guess I will switch again until I find something that does work unless none work then I will be on my own, which I am hoping doesn't happen.

Have you asked about being observed in the hospital a little longer than they usual? Just to be sure? (Sorry, I am a worry-wort.)
Tammy
Hope you can get the Gilenya.

I hope all goes well with getting approved for and started on Gilenya! My insurance just approved Tysabri for me. It wasn't fun, but hopefully your transition is much easier. I actually had to switch to bifocals my last eye appt. Oh the fun in getting older! LOL!
