Hi Everyone Hope You Are Keeping Well In Yourselve's.
I Wonder How Many Of You Have Had  A Test Called A Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation,(TMS) I Was At The Hospital Last Week For A Review And The Neuro Wants This Test Done Apparantly To See Exactly What Damage Is Being Done From The MS. I Will Be Very Interested In Your Answers In The Meantime Take Care Everyone.

Hi Joe,
This test is something I am not familiar with - but that the case for lots of things for me - so I went looking for information.  Wikipedia has a very clear description of how this test is used to excite the brain and the information that can be retrieved.  Fascinating and it sounds like it is relatively new technique.

Thanks For Replying, Yes The Neuro Wants This Test Done At The Hospital And I Think You Are Right In Saying That It Is An Evoked Potential Of Some Sort.
I Posted On This Forum As I Have Not Read Any Posts That Anyone Has Had This Procedure,
I Think It Would Be Interesting If Anyone Has This Test And What Exactly Were They Looking For.

I've not had this, and I'm not very familiar w/the procedure, but thought it was an EP (evoked potential) of some sort.  Is this a study the hospital is doing?

I've only read a little into the studies in the past.  I'd have to dig to find out more for you.  

HOping some will have some more details on this for you..
