Two different doctors' offices.....

This was in my email this morning from a dear friend....

Boy, if this doesn't hit the nail on the head,
I don't know what does!

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, Is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't reviewed for another week
And finally has his surgery scheduled for a month from then.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever.

The SECOND is a Senior Citizen.

Next time take me to a vet!

Here is a recent link on Donna Dawn.  How many poor have the medical care she has received as a transgender?

I bet ya many seniors would trade places with a prisoner to get health care.  In fact I am betting prisoners are getting the best of health care.  California just last year put $8 BILLION (over the next five years) to build seven advanced medical facilities for inmates.  There was a death row inmate in Oregon.  A total of $121,000 per YEAR was paid for his dialysis.  Not good enough.  The taxpayers then put out a additional $100,000 for a kidney transplant.  We needed him to stay healthy for his date with death.  There are no lawyers or courts to fight for the struggling senior.

Oh yea and don't forget the inmate that wants a sex change operation and will probably receive it.  Go figure......

Used to volunteer at a prison medical center.  Betcha they'd swap places with most of us.

Dogs wouldn't, though.  They're spoiled rotten.  Bandit thinks he's persecuted today for getting a bath earlier and then soon after, a scolding for leaving an unwanted surprise on the freshly-shampooed dining room carpet.  Cute little rascal, but....

My vet's office doesn't take appointments, so you just take your dog in when you need/can/want to.  I have had surgery for my dog done 1 or 2 days after being seen.

A month ago I took her in because she had a toe that was very swollen.  The vet was so concerned that she hospitalized her that very day.  The surgery was the next morning and she was kept comfortable until I could pick her up.

Also, prisoners that are incarcerated are given the best healthcare.  They are seen by dentists at regular 6 month intervals, teeth are cleaned, filled and seen on an emergency basis as well.  They are seen by physicians and hospitalized without a wait period.

I had seen this writing before, love it,  and concur fully!!  And it is going to get worse for seniors because the mood in this country is increasingly Marxist:  If you're not useful, we don't need you.  No matter that seniors have already helped build this country in their younger years, no matter - if they can't produce now, they are expendable.  That increasingly is the attitude of our govt. and Medicare and Social Security will continue to be pruned, as far as senior benefits go, and seniors will be dying off younger.
