Itchy, periodic, bee stinging sensations all over body?

Hi, I wasn't quite sure of what topic to put this under, so I think neurology is the closest, if not, the right one.

Ok, so for ages, like maybe 2 years now. I have been experiencing these Itchy-bee-sting like sensations all over my body, and when I say all over my body, I don't mean all at the one time, it's more of a periodic type of sensation that just 'pops' up in different places around my body, for example; I just had one on my leg, then 5 seconds later I got one on my stomach, and then my foot. These prickle/stings that I feel do not have any visual symptoms, such as bumps rash, etc. It's just invisible pain "literally the feeling that a bee just stung me real quick". Right now, it is 1:52 AM and I am awake because these stings are too intense, and can not be ignored, no matter how tired I am. I take anti-histamines (claratyne) and it doesn't seem to rid them, not even in the slightest. These 'stings' have been going on for 4 days now and I have lost so much sleep. They don't seem to go away, not even for a little bit during the day. I'm really not sure as to what is causing them, like I can’t think of a trigger, maybe my soaps? Who knows, but all the soaps I use are soap free. When these 'sting-things' happen, I feel I have to scratch them for them to go away, or it turns into an intense sting, it just gets really strong and painful and then slowly tapers off.
Please help me, when I explain this to my GP, he says he has never heard such a thing!
Any insight would be great, thanks kindly, Samantha.

Hello, I have been getting this problem for 2 months now, those who get it can serioustly understand this issue as it it annoying. I try to take antihistamines (it only stops me getting a red skin), however the stinging sensation is still present. I believe it is linked to stress, but im not sure.

I have an 11 year old daughter with 2 autoimmune diseases that have blood/platelets and joints. She has been through many different treatments since February diagnosis, including IVIG and prednisone in high doses.  Due to the reactions that she had with these treatments, she has seen many doctors!!  None of them can figure out this "stinging" feeling.  It was horrible last night and we were doing better.  But when it is intense, it is very hard as a mom to watch.  I was starting to think that maybe this is psychosomatic in nature.  But, after reading through this thread, I am going to do some more research and question the doctors more about the gut information.  She has already tested "sensitive" to so many foods that I struggle to figure out what she should be eating.  She has been on neurontin for this pain for about 2 months. We thought it was working, but then this was so bad again last night.  Thank you all for writing on this thread......hope that everyone gets relief....I can't imagine having it....it is very challenging from a mom's perspective to watch your child in such pain and unable to do anything to ease it. She is dealing with very low platelets again and will probably need another round of treatments soon. I hope we can get some answers and treatments that work!!!

Stopped sleeping on my memory foam mattress and within 2 days felt better, and within 2 1/2 weeks 80% better, figured my troubles were over,  but now am regressing.  I did patch testing a month ago with a terrific allergist and learned I have many enviromental allergies, #1 bad boy was mercaptobenzothiazole, it is in basically everything- rubber , latex, spandex, poly-cotton blends (100 cotton or poly ok), nitrile, neoprene and yes memory foam (as in my mattress).  Plastic and vinyl are ok. I have elimated 95% of my wardrobe, 100% of shoes- can't touch manmade material, but $180 all leather shoes are fine,  and because of other allergies to preservatives and fragrance have tossed all my lotions and potions- just Vasiline and lard and lye soap ok.

This post of yours is old, but was curious if you and wife are better now and if you ever found proof as to what is causing this burning, stinging inner skin like I have.

Chemtrails, they spray us it lands on the skin and grows from there, affects different people in different ways.Nano fiber fungus technology, don't ask me what for i have no idea.Maybe to light you up on radar behind walls? Maybe it's so when ai robots come to kill they know who to go after, maybe its to protect us from something maybe radiation from space.Don't know your guess is as good as mine. Take you finger and press is hard against you forehead rub left to right  to bunch it up in one areas now pinch it with your finger nails, it slips right through skin on finger, and pull very slowly..Let me know what you felt and heard.
