Microdisectomy

Had a herniated disc L5/S1 surgery on 11/1 stayed overnight in the hosp relaeased the next day. Surg went well...Very sore and in some moderate pain but still having right leg pain. Not sure if this is normal and will take time to go away??? Seems to be only when I sit or lay down. I also very achey in both legs and my right arm..??
Anyone experience the same after surgery?  I know I am very early as I am only two days post op but I am scared that the leg pain will not go away over time.

Hi there!

Some amount of pain/ discomfort may be present after the surgery due to inflammation and is likely to get better over the next few days. If you do not see any improvement over the next few days, you may seek a review with your treating orthopedician.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
