This is GREAT news Bob! Never hesitate to tell us good news, we live for that kind of info! I second what Jan says, she should be dealing with proms and high school stuff. She must have looked beautiful. Do you have any pics of her in her dress? Thanks Bob for sharing the wonderful news. With love, Deandra
Oh Bob, I was smiling ear to ear while reading this. How wonderful!
And, She got to go to prom!
Sincerely,
Mary
Hi Bob,
So very happy to hear about your wonderful trip to Hawaii and her prom night and all! She deserves every special thing that comes her way as well as a the normal stuff a teenager should enjoy! Also happy to hear maybe you all can not have her OC be the center of your life. God bless her and your family! Your friend up the thruway.
Debbie
Thank God. Good news is always welcomed ... and with someone so young, it triples the joy. Wonderful.

Bob, that is amazingly wonderful news. I always said that girl should be concentrating on Proms and colleges and now she is. I hope that all of this will be put behind her and she can have a normal young adult life. Of course, she will be way ahead of the pack in the wisdom dept with everything she has been through, but that will only serve her in the future to make good choices when ohers aren't. Congratulations to Ashley for fighting the good fight and to you Bob for being the kind of support system everyone deserves to have.
Love,
Jan

Congratulations on the wonderful news. I wish Ashley all the best in the coming years, and hopefully a life-time remission from this wretched cancer. Best wishes to you too Bob...being such a supportive Dad. Hugs to you both..Helen..
Wonderful news, as a parent I can understand the Joy and Relief you are feeling now. Ashley is so young to have had to face this terrible disease, she was never alone, you are to be commended for being a really great Dad. The strength and courage you have portrayed, along with her, is a shining example to others. I pray that her future now, will always be free and full. marty
What great great news!!!! I remember way back when all this transpired and how sad I was for you as a parent especially since I am a parent to 2 young girls also...I am so so happy for all of you ....Ashley is a beautiful girl and I am sure she must have took your breath away Prom night...There are so many women on here that you have given so much encouragement to by telling your story....Ashley made a good choice picking out a TIffany necklace as that is one of my favorite stores...She deserves it!!! May God continue to bless you and your family....Gia :)
Bob - wishing you and Ashley the best of everything...and thanks for the update...we needed it and love the good news!!!!
Hugs to you both.
Pam

I'm so glad to hear from you. Especially since you're back with terrific news. I was a bit worried when I sent a little note and didn't hear back. Of course I feared the worst.
I want to thank you for your help, pointing me in the right direction concerning Angel Flight. Although Angel Flight is for flights under 1,000 miles it still connected me to another site that does help with cross country flight fare. I passed this on to my friend. Haven't heard yet about when she might head to Buffalo for treatment. Paperwork you know.
That's wonderful that Ashley had a nice time in Waikiki. It helps to just let go and relax. I'm sure you took tons of pictures. Let her know we're all happy with her good news.
Believe me, we like to hear good news like this better than bad news anyday. I mean we like to know what is going on with everyone, good and bad, but no one should hesitate to post good news. Please bring it on. It lifts our spirits and gives us hope. I'm so happy for your family. Paula
That is great news. I am so happy for her (and you!). Marie
