Hi Dr.

My mother just been through Ovary Laparotomy in "Rajiv Gandhi Cancer & research institute" . The cancer is been removed and now the Dr had advised for 6 cycles of Chemo.
I need ur guidence on the Side effects of Chemo and how we can be well prepared for it, and if it will be 100 % cureable .
Also please advise if is it necessary to have the therapy from the same hopital .The Medical expensses Per cycle wud be 30k approx .

Details from the discharges report are as follows :

-She was investigated outside MRI whole abdomen suggestive of complex mass lesion b/1 adnexa, multiple soft tissue deposits in pelvis and no free fluid . CA125 - 137.8U/ml.
-Tumor deposit present on anterior abdominal wall .
-Asctic fluid (+) 200-300 ml
-B/L Adnexa Masses (+)
-Right - Solid cystic mass 6 x 7 x 8 cm present & as adherent to anterior abdominal wall & UB .-
-Left - a huge bosselated solid cystic mass of 10 x 12 x 10 cm present which was abutting closely at rectosigmoid,retroperitoneal strutures and left lateral pelvic wall and was deeply impacted in POD .
-appendix and mesoappendix - tumor deposits (+).Appendicectomy done.
-Multiple tumor deposits (+) on omentum, small intestine and mesentery .
-tumor deposits (+) in POD
-B/L pelvic lymphnodes enlarged , matted and stuck to adjacent structures .
-Bladder peritoneum diseased . tumor deposits (+) .

These entire details have been copied as i have very less knowledge on the same .
