Dear Barry and family, may you find some comfort in knowing that Sharon is now at peace. What a beautiful legacy she has left here at medhelp. There are sure alot of twinkling teal stars shining in the sky tonight and every night.

This disease is so sneaky, and unrelenting!  There are way too many of these messages on here...we're losing too many.  So, to Sharon's family, I offer my deepest condolences. Everyone who participates here is a big part of the board, and when one passes away, a hole is left.  Like many of you, I am picturing Sharon with Jan, Donna, Chris, Leslee, Yvonne, and the other 70 or so names we read at the ceremony in October sitting around swapping stories and telling jokes...and laughing because the pain is gone.  Such a fiesty presence here!  I guess with every lady who passes away, we get a little more fired up that we're going to do what we can to help spread the word about OvCa, get help for those who need it, and work towards finding a cure.  Let's honor their memories by working hard to make sure they didn't pass away in vain.  I have a feeling they'd kick our backsides if we did!

I am so sorry  to hear Sharon Bohan has pass away, she is in a better place now, resting in so much peace. Prayer: Father God who art in Heaven hallow be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trepasses as we forgive those who trepass agianst us, lead us not into tempation but deliver from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever amen! Lord I ask for forgiveness of evil thoughts that plagued my mind daily and hindred my relatinship with you. Forgive me of all my thoughts that are contary to your will, deliver and set me free, and my mind from thoughts that are not like you. I thnak you Lord for being my God, savior, and Delivering me. I'm just so sad to hear this. I knew Sharon only through the forum but what a fighter she was. A very dear , sweet soul and I enjoyed knowing her for the short time that I did. . Please accept my condolences as well.

my  condolences to the family. I was sitting hear with tears in my eyes, when i just read this. sharon was such a fighter, that this just breaks my heart. she kept me going, when i thought i would never get through it. she made me laugh and smile and find the good things in life, to look forward to. i really can't put into words how i'm feeling. she is free of pain and with the angels now. looking down on all us. I will miss you my dear friend.

I can't believe it. I knew one day it would happen, but it's one of those things you try to put out of your mind.  I haven't been on in a few weeks, I've been busy with work and trying to see Jack.  Sharon always spoke so fondly of Jan and that gave me comfort.  Now Sharon, Jan and Chris are up there having some laughs and causing trouble and at the same time watching over us.  We love you Sharon.  Gods peace to you and your family.  Love Lisa

I knew she wasn't doing well lately - but I just can't believe she's passed away - I remember reading her status of being 'back on the sauce'.  Bohan/Sharon seemed so down-to-earth - I really wish I had the chance to know her better.

I haven't been on the past few weeks and am just heartbroken to hear this news.  I appreciated Sharon so much, and all the kind words and encouragement she gave all of us, even when she was going through so much.  She was diagnosed at the same time as my mom and I have followed her journey carefully.  I just can't believe she's gone. My thoughts, prayers, and tears go out to her family.  What a sweet post by her husband.  Thank you Sharon, for blessing me in the midst of your suffering.  I will never forget you.

I'm getting past the tears but in my heart and mind she'll always be the red-headed elf that could shake up the world. Tiny but powerful. I really thought she would be here for her birthday. It's too easy to take people for granted, assume that they'll be here tomorrow, next week, next month. It just happened too soon. I'll be missing you Sharon.

Oh my....I'm truly at a loss for words. I had so much respect and admiration for Sharon. Not only was she a warrior, she was also realistic about what she was facing and that really resonated with me.
Sharon...please give hugs to all the other ovarian angels up there. I am relieved that you no longer have to spend one more second in pain but I'm sad too, because this forum won't be the same without you...

Barry sends a final message from Sharon's account. I will deactivate it on Jan 30th. Thanks so much for your condolences and expressions of love for my soul mate and best girl. I am honored that she chose to spend her last 30 years with a bumpkin like me. She was taken from us much too soon. Another Barry summed up my feelings for Sharon in a song I will quote here: " You're the First, the Last, my Everything

My heart is broken that we didn't get to say goodbye.  I was hoping to make a trip down to see her again in the coming weeks.  I will try and find out the funeral arrangements and see if I can attend.  Oh Sharon, you will so be missed.  I have tears of sadness but am also relieved that you are free of your pain.  I loved and valued your friendship so much.
