My mom's ca125 #

HI,

My mom was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma from the ovary with a ca125 of 972 back in October and today's result after 3 rounds of chemo is 111 1/29/08....Is this a good sign of any sign at all.  My mom is 73 years old and up unitl this cancer diagnosis was in good health...

Hello... Well, I would swap my 7000 for your Mum's 111 anytime. :-)   At least the numbers are heading in the right direction and after the next 3 treatments she could very well be in the normal range....35 or below. Wishing your Mum all the best... and I hope she stays well.... hugs...Helen...

I am no doctor but from my experience and looking in, it sounds really good! I think as long as those ca125 #'s keep going down... it should mean that the meds are doing their job. This is so hard cause it is one of the only tests to monitor!  Always be really open and voice all concerns to the doctor. What are they saying?
