Is there any particular size?

Is there any particular cyst size that is more suspicious for cancer?   I know the complexity of the cyst, whether there's septation or solidity or not, is an indicator, too.   But is there a particular size that's more likely to indicate cancer?

I have not read much about multiple small cysts, but some could be functional and some of them not. These are good questions to ask the doctor, but when discussing you need to ask specific questions about each cyst and what he rthinks and why he is treating them as he is. Do not accept a general answer. this is where it helps to be knowledgeable and put him on the spot. Read alot and write down specific questions and askm for a dfinitive answer for each question. Good luck.

Oh and I love little bubba, he is sooo cute.

What if you have several cysts but all are under 5 cm. when I got my CT I had several on each ovary...and if they have both solid or liquid components?

I think they like to go take a look when the cyst is over 5cm and persists and has a certain look to it. But I have also read, that if it is malignanat and a certain cell type, it will shead cells and spread versus grow. Also, some have been diagnosed without a major tumor on the ovaries, just metastasis in the abdomen etc.
