How am I going to have time to fix anything for Paula when i have to run all over the country to eat with the rest of you guys? I love to cook but just hate doing it for myself, so I guess if I go all out, someone will have to stop by and share it with me.
How about a big pan of Lasagna, with cheesy garlic bread and a big salad. I do not know how to make just a little bit of Lasagna at a time so I will have enough for everyone. I guess I had better go get started on the sauce huh?

Oh and I too will gladly donate 10, 15, even 20 pounds of my excess. You name it and you have got it!!

I asked Paula the other day what she was most looking forward to after her surgery, the greasy chicken broth or the yellow jello.

How about Chicken breast stuffed with cranberry stuffing drizzled with honey and almonds, roasted potatoes, fresh corn on the cob and fresh peach cobbler.  

DONNA: That is what I had for dinner last night when I met Gail, but if you are going to fix that, it isn't that far a drive to your house.  We'll be there in a couple of hours.

After driving madly to Star's for that Ham dinner :))  I will retun home to Minnesota and bake Chocolate Chip Cookies to send. I am more a "Vanilla" fan, but my family says that I make "THE BEST" chocolate chip cookies. I like to think I do make the best and that the family is not just "buttering me up."

For you I'll make fresh custard filled eclairs. I haven't made them in years but oh,yeah, they're good. That fresh puff pastry from the oven, cooled slightly, then filled to bursting with lots of gooey custard and covered with chocolate ganache. Bite into it and the filling squirts out the other end. Messy but delicious.
