Pathology Results

  To:  All

I received my pathology results today.  I was dx ovca Stage 1A, Grade 1. On Feb. 29th.    The pathology reads, mucinous goblet cell carcinoid, associated with a mature cystic teratoma right ovary.

The Doctor told me today they will monitor me every 3 months for 1st year.  I felt better after talking to the doctor today, he did take time to answer all my questions.

I am going to enjoy this very Blessed Easter and I Wish all of you the same.  Thank you so much for everything.

Take Care and God Bless,
Dawnlyn

Thank you for your responses and best wishes.  I feel like one of the luckiest ladies on earth, but as Marty said I still have that twinge of fear.....But I have a positive outlook and I have found a wonderful place to come to learn, to listen, to speak and to love and care....This is such a positive place...

Thank you all and Marty I will try to and tell my story....

Love

The waiting is over and the reports are read,  it is a mixture of very good news and that little twinge of fear.  I am very thankful that your cancer was caught early and puts you in the group of Hope for a complete recovery.  I do hope you will continue to monitor the forum and help those that come here with questions that you can relate to. We need more early detections, and yours will be the best example.  If you can find the time, could you post your story in the health topics column under early diagnosis for all to read and learn from.  Blessings on you, Marty
