I am so sorry to hear that everyone has been feeling so badly lately. Unfortunately I have to include myself in there. Since the BP isuues have come up I have just been feeling so drained. I might have a good day then the next day I am down all over again.
I hate that we all have to go through so much, it seems to never stop. But I just keep focusing on spring! It has beena long rough winter for many of us, so I feel that it has to give in soon, and what better time for that than spring!
Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers daily. Hang in there! It will get better!
Love to all of you, Chris

Dear Yvonne, I am so happy to see you post, but wish it was to tell us you are feeling better. Please keep us posted you are always in my prayers.

Much love to all, Sam x
I could not say it any better than the ladies have above me on this post. I send all of you love, prayers, strength, hope and positive energy. God Bless Judie:)
I echo Dian's sentiments above. Marie
Your voices are ones I am always anxious to hear.....you are cornerstones to this forum and you are all carried in my heart. I love and honor and respect you women as I have rarely done before.....you are my heroines ( as a young woman my heroine was Madame Curie, and I have to tell you, she , though still greatly admired, has been replaced by by you). Please know how important you are to the rest of us. Your courage and determination and lack of defeat is a shining beacon to light the way for all of us. Thank you....
Peace.

Did you ever wonder why woman can bare pain better than a man? It is because when God saw the woman that he had created, He decided to give them the strength to fashion the world he had created. A woman carries the genes to create and disperse generations. He gave His Son to teach us Love, but to woman He gave the greatest of all gifts. The means to carry on His creations. With any gift comes an obligation, our strength recognizes the effort it takes to carry on and our bodies feel the pain. Pain is real whether mental or physical and we, as women, have been given the necessary human parts to do the birthing. These are the parts that develop the cysts and tumors and cause the pains. It is a never ending cycle and until there is a cure for this, women will suffer. My cure for pain is to do a complete relaxation of the body, calm the nerve endings that send the pain signals to the brain. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Marty
Yvonne and Helen I'm sorry you aren't feeling better. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
Yvonne - I'm so happy to see so many who were among the missing back on the board however briefly. Sorry to hear you are still having so much pain. When my ascites was drained, it gave me so much relief that I looked forward to it.
Helen - I am having absolutely the same experience, fatigue, painful gas, bloating and lots of abdominal pain with a bit of nausea thrown in just for fun. My last CT didn't show much ascites though. Last week after the carbo/gemzar I did pretty well, but after just the gemzar on Friday, it's been rough. I was going into work this week, but right now that sounds ridiculous because as you and Yvonne both say, just about anything is too much effort. I'm at my blood counts nadir, so that may be part of the problem. Paula
I am sorry you are feeling bad. I am on chemo for recurrence and it keeps my red blood so low i can hardly get to the other end of my house. They give me aranesp shots that work for 3 weeks, but I can't get built up before time for chemo again. Now they have given me b12 ,but after seeg the needle i have chickened out (My husband would have to give it to me). It will get better for you, hang in there. You are in my prayers. Donna
Wishing that both of you can feel better soon. I will be thinking of you. Marie
Wishing you well....stay strong...hoping you will feel better soon! Gia :)
Dear Yvonne, I am wishing so much for a good day for you. Having that ascites drained is scarry. I had that when I was first diagnosed so I am prone to it. I haven't been on the forum too much because I am so fatigued and go through abdominal bloating and gas pain. The gas pain seizes up the muscle. It's terrible. A side effect of this drug with my conditions but it numbers keep going down I'll bare the pain.
I've been getting that-everything is an effort as far as small tasks. With those painkillers make sure you have something in your stomach. How is your eating!
Spring comes next. Do you have a comfy lounge chair to lie on outside when the weather gets warm?
Wishing you a good day. Lots of love, Helen
