Should i go to a and e?

I've been quite poorly this week with abdo pain and dizzyness.
I have an underactive thyroid which at the moment is severely unbalanced. My GP has seen me everyday at his request apart from today. They are monitoring me at the moment.
I am waiting for an ultrasound and transvaginal scan but it's already been a week since the faxed it and it's been sent urgently!!

I was diagnosed with pco when i was 18, i am now 29. I have my period every 37 days and it'f usually heavy and painful. This month was very different, it was lighter and lasted 14 days! However, we are ttc and i did get a faint positive but then it turned negative and i bleed. Docs are quiering if i have miscarried.

Anyway, after that bit of history, I am still in quite a bit if pain in my lower abdomen, and i am dizzy when standing.

I have taken pain relief but it hasn't took it off. When i press my right side it is so painful. I am writing this standing up as it hurts to sit down.
I had an internal yday and the nurse said that she could feel a swelling on my right ovary.
Any advice please?

Well I am glad that you are at home, and hopefully the antibiotic and painkillers will help. I am also happy that you went to see you GP and he was smart to send you right to the hospital! I hope you feel better! And also just take care of your self, and keep your self positive! Take Care :)

Thank you for your kind words.
I went to see my GP today and he sent me straight up to the hospital. They have said i probably have an infection which is causing the pain.
They have given me some strong antibiotics and painkillers, so I'm now home.

Well I am sorry for you lost, and I am sorry that you are having to go throu all of this. I am not sure why they are taking there time in getting you in to have an u/s as I would have thought that bloodwork and us would be used to make sure that you are ok. I hope that you feel better soon! And once again I am sorry to hear about the M/C, they are not fun and they can be very emotional!

I'm waiting for them to call me with an appt. I'm in the UK and I've asked my GP to speed it up but he said he can't do anything else. It's gone through as urgent and that's that.
I did several HPT's that went from a very strong line to a faint positive over about a week. They have said it was a M/C, but i didn't go to the doctors at first as I thought there was nothing that they could do and i was only prob about 6 weeks pregnant.

I am more worried about the abdo pain and back ache at the moment and what this swelling is that the nurse could feel.

Thank you for your reply.

OK first, you said that you are waiting to a u/s..did you already have one or are you waiting for them to call you to make an appt...if the doc puts STAT on it, a test should be called in within the next 24 hours, also the results will be read that same day. Have they run a bloodtest for preg? Could it just be a light period? Also, when you took the HPT did you read the results in the time that you are suppose to? I believe most of them or 5-10 mins, anything after that should be throw out, and to re-test. Have to repeated a HPT today with FMU? I to have PCOS, and this cycle was very different for me, TTC, and my periods are usually about 45-55 days part, this month, my AF came and she lasted only about 3.5 days, and PINK, I didn't think anything of it, but now I am hurting with really bad back pain, and my lower abd will hurt to the point that if I am sleeping I will wake up in the middle of the night with pain. I am on Metformin for my PCOS, but I dont know if the medication is what is causing my pain or maybe I got a cyst, as cyst can make you have lower back pain, and abd pain, headaches, and all that we are saying we are going through with now. I don't know why you doc would say you m/c without running any test or anything to prove that you may have m/c...maybe a chemical prego??? I would say to call where-ever you are having your u/s at and get you in there quick..or your results..so you can get the right treatment!
