Heavy Bleeding After Lap?

I had the surgery on Sept. 14, 2009. I had two cysts removed. I had light/heavy bleeding in the beginning but it would stop completely one day and come back fully loaded the next day. This has been going on for nearly three weeks . Everytime I get the bleeding it gets heavier and heavier. I went to the doctor today and she said that everything looked okay but gave me some estrogen pills to take to try to stop the bleeding. To tell the truth I'm still a little scared. Not trying to be gross but when I sit on the toilet I just drip blood and these huge blood clots keep dropping out too. Does anyone really know if this is normal or had a similar experience? Thanks.

This does seem quite excessive.  How active have you been?  I would suggest you take the weekend to stay right off your feet and rest.  If this doesn't stop it I would then go to the ER.
