I am surprised it doesn't say it's a simple cyst or a complex cyst or use any other adjective to describe the cyst.
Cysts are commonly benign, although the source of your heavy bleeding needs to be defined. Most conditions can be treated surgically but usually do not require hysterectomy. If you see a surgeon and he says you need hysterectomy, ask why he says that and ask if there aren't other less drastic procedures that will solve the problem. If he doesn't explain to your satisfaction, say you want to think about it and get a second opinion.
I am pretty sure that Nabothian cysts are always on the cervix and I don. So I guess you have those cysts plus cysts on your ovaries. But keep in mind that ovarian cysts are a normal part of the menstrual cycle. Sometimes though they hang around longer than normal and, less rarely, they are problematic and need to be removed such as if they get too large or look suspicious.
The small size, "unremarkable" characteristic, and lack of free fluid of these ovarian cysts would indicate that they should not need intervention. However, I agree with the other poster that it is odd that more information was not provided (e.g., fluid filled, solid components, septations, projections, thick/thin walls, etc.). But again, the "unremarkable" descriptor should mean that they are normal looking.
Chances are these ovarian cysts will go away on their own. Your gynecologist may want to do another ultrasound in a couple of months or so to ensure they are gone or at least are not growing.
Nabothian cysts are harmless, usually do not cause symptoms, and therefore do not need treatment.
