sleepless and hurting

i am still in great spirits and looking foward to my surgery date
i have been an insomniac for over 15 years so dealing with pain at night only aggrevates it (i take ambien and trazodone for sleep and i am still awake because when i hurt i cant stay asleep)

okay ... other than my persistently low blood chemistry values i have a new problem
a painful bump in my left groin area about the size of a pea and very hard with a smaller bump nearby
any input from anyone else who experienced this too would be appreciated
c'mon 7/23 ... i wanna feel better

funny i dont really care what they find or dont find .... i still just want it gone
i saw on another post where someone was getting her ovary "plucked out" like a flower
what a positive attitude that is :)

anyways ... done ranting ... i'll ask the doc about the bumps along with the 8454825 other things on my list LOL

always in prayer
sharon

Dear Sharon, It sounds like an inflammed node from an infection.  Your flower will be plucked out before you know it.  I did visualizations before my surgery - I imagined the surgeon removing my ovary and me thanking it for all the hard work it did for 35+ years and then letting it go.  Keep faith in your heart.

Sharon,
I take a list now with all my questions after this past year of terrible doctors and no answers!   I know you are anxious to just be done with your surgery and start feeling better. It will be here before you know it!  Keeping you in my prayers!
Hugs,
Colleen

Perhaps your lymph nodes are a bit inflamed from all that's going on inside your body. Your bumps sound about the right size. You can mention it to the doctor when you go in again.

Since my cyst was orange sized I guess my doctor plucked an orange :-)

Hey Sharon.  Sounds to me like you are feeling cysts.  Do ask away to your doctor and glad your flower will be plucked!
