Thank you to all the women for their support

I had my surgery on Tuesday and it went well.  She did it laparscopically and removed 2 cysts on the left ovary, the ovary, and the fallopian tube.  Today is Thursday and I am in a lot pain but I am taking the meds and getting lots of rest.  I want to thank the ones who gave me good advise to get through this.  I am glad there is a web page that we can chat on about issues such as ovarian cysts.  I know when I was first told I had a cyst on my left ovary I was really scared.  Also that I don't have insurance is really scary.  Then I calmed down and got use to it.    I kept monitoring my pain over several months but the last 3 weeks have been really rough on me.  My lower left side of my back was aching all day long non stop.  I finally went to have another ultrasound done thinking it had grown but it didn't there was another one that was 4 cm on the same ovary.  So overall 10 cm pushing up against my back was painful.  I was walking hunched over.  I was hoping I could wait until my husband gets insurance with his employer to have the surgery but I couldn't wait anymore I was miserable.  Since my husband is contract we do not know if and when he will be brought on permanent.  So we paid out of pocket.  I realize we will be up to our eyeballs in debt.    Again thank you for the support.

Oh, I'm so glad you had your surgery! Whoo-hoo! I wish you a speedy recovery and good riddance to the cysts! Continue to get lots of rest and let other people do things for you! You'll be glad you didn't wait for the surgery :)
