Hi Ladies. Whats the difference between an ovarian tumor and an ovarian cysct? I have an ovarian tumor (10cm) and will be having it removed soon.

i have breat cancer leukemia illestomy and now have cysts onboth kidneys and bladder amongthe many infections i am scared to death and my cancer doctor poo poos my worriezs the pain inmy back is unbearable but becaue i have blood clot formations she does not want me to go to pain management nopr aspiate the cysats help me p l e a s e kayu frederiuck ***@****

Just from my own experience--- my Dr. referred to my ovarian cyst as a cyst and tumor interchangeably in the same visit..... which rather frightened me at first. Evidently there is not that much of a distinction in the medical field with this kind of "growth" ..
