Are you having pain in your upper right quadrant or down low? Your gallbladder is on your far right upper and your liver is under your breast bone. Either of those can cause pain there or the bilary ducts between. Nausea is very predominant with issues around that. I agree that they must have detected an infection. If you don't get relief after that you might want to ask for a HIDA scan. I would let them finish all the testing in this area before further investigating the cyst issue. Good luck and I hope you get some relief. I'm having problems in the same area right now too.
Thank you for responding, im so worried! Thats the funny thing, they did not find anything wrong with my bladder, they just said i had classic symptoms for it and endometriosis. I dont have a fever. Just alot of pain, like today, i was in tears this morning. I dont want to eat, i cant even drink water on days like this, its feels like its burning when it goes down, and makes me feel terribly nauseous. Which i love water!! Overall im not energetic either. My WBC is low, so they are sending me to internal medicine but i dont have the appt yet. I have followup with the OBGYN on 27 August, i think im going to beg her for another ultrasound. I have fluid still, they small amt everytime, in pelvis since april...is that normal for 4 months now, with pain? Thanks again, im so scared, something is going on, and nothings being foxed, im just waiting for something really bad , and thats awful feeling. I think of my daughter everyday through this. They are doing a hemotamic function panel on me today for the liver. And yes i was on several antibiotics for the past few months, since about two weeks ago i have stopped.
Not sure really. Is the medicine an antibiotic?
If you had a rupture, it could have led to a minor infection. Since the urinary tract is really close to the reproductive system, there could be a connection, so you're being treated for it. There could still be absorption of the cyst material in progress from that previous rupture. It seems the right ovary is still healing and the left one has a small cyst and none of these findings seem to be worrying the doctors. Did you mention your worries about ovarian cancer to the doctor and did you get an answer?
Since all these parts are so close together, the cause of pains can be very hard to identify. Treat the bladder thing...they must have detected some kind of infection in testing. You don't want that spreading to kidneys, etc.
Any idea why the liver was mentioned? Take it easy with things like Tylenol and alcohol if you use them. They do tremendous liver damage especially when taken together. Not sure what you are taking for pain, but the liver has to deal with that medicine. If you are on antibiotics, eat yogurt for awhile because it will mess with your digestive system if you don't.
