This is not really a question, just letting those of you that might have been wondering how my gyn appt. went yesterday. Today is my surgeon/dr. appointment.
The new gyn took a look at my ultrasound results and he said he didn't think there was anything to be too concerned with at this time. The cysts appear to be simple, the adenomyosis should resolve once I hit full blown menopause, and there is one cyst in my uterus that they will keep an eye on, and my uterus is about the size of a 3 month pregnancy and is pressing on my bladder, that explains those symptoms. He was concerned about the endometrial stripe being thickened (13mm?) so he did an endometrial biopsy. We will wait for those results and go from there. He did say it was possible I had endometriosis in the past and that might have caused the scarring on my intestines, which of course, led to my recent surgery. So basically, wait a while, see if I develop any other symptoms (like heavy bleeding, more pain, etc.) and then he would consider an endometrial ablation, D&C, or even a hysterectomy. I really wish I had seen him before my ER surgery and then I could have told the doc "take it all out while you are taking my intestine out, lol". Right now, the thought of anymore surgery is not a good thought!!
I will still hang around and try to answer questions when I can!
