still confused

I am going into hospital nxt month as i have a 7x6 cyst on my right ovary but feel that i havnt been given much info from the gyni clinic. All i know is that they will try to remove cyst without the ovary through keyhole surgery but they wont know for sure until the operation has started so i wont know anything until i come out of surgery, i just find this a bit worrying. has anyone else had this problem?

I had my surgery (keyhole, but they had to do 4 holes for my 17X14X16 cm cyst) two weeks ago Wednesday.  I was back to working half days (from home) the following Tuesday and back full time at the office on Thursday.  I have to admit, I was really exhausted over the weekend and even today when I came home I am tired and a bit sore.  I do what I have to do and make sure I rest when I can.  Don't push it - I started to and realized I wasn't doing anyone any favors.  Good luck

I worried and worried!  Had my surger last Tuesday, 3 incisions with some complications due to some crazy circumstances.  However, I feel amazing, going back to work tomorrow!  Just take it really easy and REST when you get home!  I was exhasuted, still am a little tired.  You will do just fine! :)  Good luck to you!

Everyone goes through this pre-surgery worry.  We have had a lot of success stories here and certainly you should be joining us in the success story club.  Figure 2 weeks minimum to recover from keyhole surgery and 6 weeks minimum if open surgery.

That is a common approach that many doctors take.  What is your main concern?
